The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 7,400 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 12 years to get that many views.

And I will continue to visit often in 2013. I’m just so blessed by you and this amazing blog!!

Yes I go one but I pretty much summarized all these stats in a post no less than 3 weeks earlier around my blogs anniversary. ~ http://ourlifein3d.com/2012/11/15/it-happened-one-dark-and-stormy-night-part-ii/ So I didn’t rehash it. It turns out my most popular posts were written by other people. Want to take your turn CM? Either my writing is really crappy / non-interesting or the guest bloggers of lots of lyal followers.
~ you could be one too….

Surely you jest?! Your writing crappy? I remember that post in Novemeber! I even commented on it! I love your writing silly girl!!!!
I love getting those awards but in a way I don’t cuzzzz I don’t want to hurt the feelings of where they came from.. honestly tell me… how long did it take you to complete all the requirements? I actually read your answers all the way through cuz I DOOOO rememember it! But wasn’t it so time consuming? I received one and did it and realized that I was just part of a list of others someone was required to choose to complete their task but followed through… though it took me a couple of hours… I love awards but this is just a networking tool that is fun but not really productive…am I wrong? I guess while I am trying to edit my book and the biggest procrastinator out there… I see it all from a different persepctive… but on this award of yours… you kept me rivited so to say you are not perhaps a very talented writer irks the kabeeegies out of me!
Jan 01, 2013 @ 15:54:51
lol well please leave your kabeeegies out of harms way. Sometimes I do jest. I feel the same way you do about awards.First reaction is a smile but then instantly I feel a huge work load ahead of me. That post took almost 3 days, given my limited spare time. I fill them out mainly out of thanks to the giver and then just get on a roll telling people about myself. But I know most people do not fill out their end when they are nominated. Like you too, I hate to disappoint others, whether the giver of the award or not nominating everyone I read or follow. You see it as a networking scheme (and it is as I get more comments on these) I see it as Junior High pass the notes around type stuff. And thank you for your nice words on my writing. I am not a trained writer but try to do it in a casual, fun talkative manner; Like I was standing beside you.
Sometime when you are done with your book I have a book for you to write, if you want. It is in my head and on paper. I just don’t have the time or pateince to write a book (or spelling). But I think it is a good idea, something that actually happened to me. I’m just looking for someone to take the project.

You have spiked my curiosity. Smile. Let’s keep in touch.
As for your writing skills, I think you have a great style. I like the standing next to you kind of writing… that is what causes me to follow! Smile…
Thank you for your compliments as well. Especially thinking I could write your idea! That’s a huge honor.
I had to smile when you metaphored the AWARD into the likes of a junior high note. I have thought about that myself. Though I do enjoy reading them… I can see how yours took 3 days! I dread receiving them now… just for the very thing… I hate to disappoint people. We are so alike there! Glad we happened into each other’s blogs!
I feel I have made a friend.
