I wander through the rooms I carry with me in my head,
they go with me where I go, it mostly just depends.
There are rooms that I’ve abandonded and barely go inside
and others where I’m there a lot, and others where I hide.
There are some I leave wide open where anyone may go,
some I lock up tight, and would rather no one go in those.
There are some that are neat and tidy and some that are a mess,
there are some where I’m creative, I love those, I think the best!
I wander through those rooms when I’m trying to fall asleep
the rooms in my past when I’m praying my soul to keep
They’re comforting to walk through when I’m lying in my bed
those rooms that I wander through that live inside my head!

I used to have a lot more rooms in my head. Somewhere along the way in the past few years, some of them got boarded up. But there still is a whole lot of space in there that spins and turns and distracts me from the world in front of me.
LOL. I always love your perspective. I sometimes find myself nodding to your posts. Thank you for taking the time to read mine! For some reason, I can’t seem to comment on my phone unless I keep signing in and it is so annoying! But I feel I expand me when I read your thoughts!

Happy New Year! I wrote you a response. That is so weird. I never know what takes on my phone or not. So when I am here I need to totally check in with past posts and I am glad I did! I have some boarded up rooms as well. Lol.
Hey you wrote something recently I think maybe on the day I wrote this one and I tried to send it to someone and now I can’t find it. But again, I tried to find it on my phone… I will look here! But I wanted to send it to someone. I like your perspective because you are more reasonable and not so politically one sided and you give me a template for my own points of view!!!!!
